   Every time I update this post it vanishes. I have republished it as Dispatch Riders. If anyone can tell me what’s going on, I’ll be very grateful.

   I haven’t the familiarity with poetic structure to comment on that but the content is really something. What a gruesome job. Then again, most of the jobs during a war are gruesome.

     And now for the phtos … I finally found them. The reproduction isn’t great, but they are over 100 years old. A miracle they survived.
