I am reading Tanya’s book now. I have little experience of abuse in my own life but I find her poems leave me with a kind of emptiness which abuse must leave in a life. I love the way she uses images like pirate ships and children’s stories to get inside the progression of abuse. Will be giving her a review on Amazon. Jane
